"Found this place when walking around the area. Located upstairs on the second floor. Ordered: Beef Pho $19 The main dish recommended by the staff Taste was nice and fresh. Generous amount of meat, noodles and soup. The staff offered me chilli sauce and hoisin sauce. She said if I prefer more taste/salty, then add the hoisin sauce. Or if I prefer more spicy, add the chilli sauce. Without the sauces, it was already nice. Just towards the end, (I think also because I was so hungry), I could taste some MSG. Some likes it but I prefer not to have it in my food (iykyk) Note: Card surcharge 1.8%"

"Egg Noodle Singapore Spicy Soup with Beef (Chicken/Pork/Tofu/Seafood) ($22.5): When everyone mentions Vietnamese noodles, they usually first think of Pho but egg noodles taste so underrated and have its special flavour. The beef slices are also succulent and the savoury broth really makes them even better. On the other hand, it contains a large portion of vegetables including broccoli, cabbage, carrots and onions. Soda Fresh Lemon and Sugar ($7.5): As a lemonade lover, I highly recommend this drink. To my surprise, this is one of the greatest and sweetest one ever, 75% sweetness, 25% sourness. It’s definitely better than 99% of all the lemonade I’ve had. You need to go upstairs in The Centre Arcade and the restaurant will directly show up in front of you. There were barely people in the restaurant when I visited at Tuesday night but I had seen this place filled with people before. I admire how delicate and traditional the decor looks that makes you feel like you’re in Vietnam. To top it off, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, superb homemade lemonade, moderate price, and decent staff, 9.5 out of 10!"

"Vietnam Oi is a lovely Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a good variety of classic Vietnamese dishes, and most of what we tried was fresh and well-prepared. As a Vietnamese person, I’m quite picky when it comes to pho. I ordered the beef pho here — it was decent, but the broth felt a bit light and didn’t have the depth of flavor I usually expect. It’s still enjoyable, just not outstanding in my opinion. On the other hand, the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and the fresh spring rolls were excellent — fresh, tasty, and full of authentic flavor. Portion sizes were generous, prices were fair, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The location is also convenient, perfect for a casual meal while exploring Surfers Paradise. Even though the pho didn’t meet my expectations, I’d still return to try more dishes. Overall, Vietnam Oi is a solid spot for Vietnamese food, especially if you're looking for something comforting, fresh, and convenient."
